Rachel + Frank | North Park Engagement

Q: What was the date of your first date?
A: August 22, 2013

Q: Describe your first date!
A: It was the perfect first date!  Dinner and drinks at Willow.  We laughed and talked for almost three hours! No first kiss because Rachel was carrying mace…..

Q:  How did you know he/she was the one?
A: We both knew around the same time.  We had both had been out of town a lot last fall.  After returning from all of our trips, we talked and decided we couldn’t imagine our lives without one another. I also had an idea Rachel could be the one when she got along great with my crazy family at a surprise birthday very early on in the relationship.

Q: What date was the proposal?
A: April 30, 2014

Q: Tell us details about the proposal!
A: I met Rachel at her apartment after work.  We had plans to go to dinner.  I had brought Rachel a present.  A wine purse with her favorite wine!  In the pocket where you would store a wine stopper, I had placed a ring.  I got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry me! I knew she was going to say yes but I was still nervous….

Q: What do you like most about your fiancé?
Rachel: His ability to always make me laugh and his selflessness.
Frank: Her ability to be compassionate and nurturing. She is the kindest person I’ve ever met. I also really enjoy her sweet dance moves at night when she needs to hit her “steps” for the day.
