Kate + Matt | John James Audubon Center Wedding

Kate and Matt are a very special couple that is near and dear to my heart. Kate is a very close friend of mine that I met in college. Although she lives in Philadelphia, we’ve remained friends since our days at Penn State! Kate and Matt asked me to be a part of their wedding in a very special and unique way… as their wedding photographer and an extension of their bridal party (somehow, I managed to achieve both roles!)

Kate and Matt’s ceremony was held at St. Ann’s Church, and their reception was at the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove. No detail was spared for this celebration- from the pumpkin signature cocktails to the welcome signage greeting guests at the entrance of the barn (keep scrolling to see these amazing details!) The romance between this adorable couple shines through these images, and every time I look at Matt’s expressions as Kate walks down the aisle, I get teary eyed because you can see that he is overtaken with emotions of excitement, love and awe. Just love these two. LOVE.

To capture the below picture of the bridal party on the porch, I had to crawl through the thick bushes in my fitted pink dress to stand on an itty-bitty ledge approximately 6 inches wide and 6 feet off of the ground. The bushes were thick and sharp, and I got cut three times and snagged my dress! Barry told me that he was spotting me, but I learned he was actually taking a picture of me…
