I remember sitting down for coffee the first time I met Abbé and Carter, and just being amazed at how sweet this couple is and how beautiful the details of their wedding sounded. It was a vintage themed wedding, influenced by Abbé’s engagement ring. The reception décor was kept a surprise by Abbé’s mother, who decorated the entire reception room and wouldn’t speak a peep about it to Abbé or Carter before the wedding day (may I say, the reception room was outright gorgeous!)
Abbé and Carter’s relationship is so genuine, and their personalities complement each other perfectly. Like two pieces in a puzzle that naturally fit together. I remember watching them hold hands right before their ceremony, on opposite sides of the door so they couldn’t see each other. Carter with a sweet smile on his face because he was moments away from seeing his bride walk down the aisle in her wedding dress. Their hands clasping tightly; I could see the love and excitement trickling through their fingertips. To witness that moment was touching. One of my favorite parts of their day. Take a look to see what I mean…
I adore the sisterly love that was expressed throughout the day…
Just love this sequence of events… specifically, Abbé’s look of excitement when I told her that portraits were over and it was time to party!
This garter toss sequence cracks me up! Not sure if it went as planned…
