A little bit of glam, a ton of sparkle and laughter, and maybe a shenanigan or two, also! Persephoni and Phil’s wedding at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel was nothing short of exquisite, and even better, was a light-hearted and an incredibly fun day. There were many unique and personal touches to their wedding day- Phil and his groomsmen wore customized suits with personalized fabric on the interior of their jackets, and Persephoni had *two* dresses- one for the ceremony, and one for the reception! Persephoni designed her glamorous reception dress in New York, and every sparkling inch of it was to die for. And so was her wedding dress!
A sweet and down-to-earth couple, Persephoni and Phil love the winter, and wanted their wedding to take place during this season as a result! We also photographed their engagement session during the winter, when I initially had the chance to get to know this lovely couple and their dog, Atlas, as we walked around the city. One of my favorite moments occurred while Persephoni was getting ready. She and her bridesmaids were putting on their finishing touches, and Persephoni’s now father-in-law stepped into the room and got teary-eyed at the sight of her! Both he and Persephoni’s mother watched in wonder as this beauty slid into her shoes and became ready to walk down the aisle! Another one of my favorite moments happened during the ceremony- it was the look of excitement both Persephoni and Phil shared after the processional, as they stepped in front of the officiant.
