In celebration of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, I thought I’d share some images from one of my all-star boudoir clients (pre-approved by the client, of course.) Maura and Rob | The Chadwick Wedding

It couldn’t make us any happier than to photograph Maura and Rob’s wedding, not only because they are such a sweet and beautiful couple, but also because this is the second family wedding that we have been a part of. We photographed Maura’s cousin’s wedding in 2016 (shout out to Kara and Carl!) and when the family came and asked us to be a part of Maura and Rob’s day, too, we were elated.

It isn’t often that you meet a couple that is Disney Character beautiful, and are just as equally beautiful on the inside, being laid-back and fun. They are incredibly close with their families- all siblings were a part of their bridal party, and others played a part in their ceremony.

What I loved most about Maura and Rob’s wedding day was watching the fun they had together during their first dance. You could tell that the moment was for themselves- Rob would take unchoreographed moments to spin Maura, and this would prompt laughter and hugs as they twirled around the dance floor.

This picture was taken in the church’s parking lot… I had to dodge parked cars and frame the horizon and sunlight just right to get this shot!

Ballet Styled Photoshoot

This summer, I had the opportunity to work with this beautiful ballerina, Brenna, in a styled photoshoot. Since personal projects usually take the back burner during wedding season, I’m just now getting around to sharing these images! Alongside Wiley Images, and Jeannine Bonadio Photography, we hopped around the campus of Carnegie Mellon University and photographed Brenna as she demonstrated her amazing talent.

The Allure of Boudoir

When I get to post about boudoir, it is like a breath of fresh air because I love to share the other popular genre that I photograph (aside from weddings, which I also adore!) Many of my boudoir clients gift their images to a significant other, and I won’t post any of their images prior to that surprise gift, so there is usually a lapse in time between when we have the session and when I post their blog. And of course, every image that I post is client approved.

So this gorgeous lady has some of the best bedroom eyes that I’ve ever photographed! I asked, and she delivered! She crushed her boudoir session, and I had the hardest time picking which images to post. As a boudoir photographer, it is imperative to have a personality that makes people feel comfortable being photographed in clothing that is less than the usual. With about one click of the camera, this babe put on her game face and was a complete natural.

Pam and George | Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding

A myriad of ombre pink rose petals, candle-lit tables, and romantic low lighting set the scene for Pam and George’s wedding day. When I first met this lovely couple, I remember listening to Pam elaborate about her wedding day details, specifically about those gorgeous ombre pink roses, and being caught up in her contagious excitement. That’s just who Pam is, bubbly, excited, and the type of person you love to be around. Watching George watch his bride as she talked about their wedding, you could see his absolute adoration for her as she spoke about every beautiful detail. I remember thinking how perfectly they fit together. Which, is also obvious as you scroll through these images.

Every single last detail of Pam and George’s wedding day was well thought out. Not just those beautiful pink ombre rose details, but also the rose and glitter table linens, the pink up lighting, or the monogram light behind the head table. Take a look to see what I mean…
