Tracey and Ross | South Park Engagement

Tracey and Ross are getting married in the fall of next year at The Gathering Place in Darlington, PA, and we are the lucky photographers who will capture their wedding! I met Tracey this past August, and knew it was a good fit when she told me how much she loves bling and sparkles. Tracey also mentioned that they want to get married by the lake at The Gathering Place because the water is so still and beautiful. I love the serenity of water, too. I heart this couple.

We took their engagement session in South Park (one of my new favorite places to shoot at!) right as the leaves were starting to turn into their magnificent fall colors. Tracey and Ross are incredibly sweet on each other- Tracey’s face literally lit up every time I asked her to look at Ross, and Ross couldn’t help but give her his soft and gentle smile each time he caught her glance. Here are just a few of my favorites from their engagement session!

Abbé and Carter | The Boiler Room Wedding

I remember sitting down for coffee the first time I met Abbé and Carter, and just being amazed at how sweet this couple is and how beautiful the details of their wedding sounded. It was a vintage themed wedding, influenced by Abbé’s engagement ring. The reception décor was kept a surprise by Abbé’s mother, who decorated the entire reception room and wouldn’t speak a peep about it to Abbé or Carter before the wedding day (may I say, the reception room was outright gorgeous!)

Abbé and Carter’s relationship is so genuine, and their personalities complement each other perfectly. Like two pieces in a puzzle that naturally fit together. I remember watching them hold hands right before their ceremony, on opposite sides of the door so they couldn’t see each other. Carter with a sweet smile on his face because he was moments away from seeing his bride walk down the aisle in her wedding dress. Their hands clasping tightly; I could see the love and excitement trickling through their fingertips. To witness that moment was touching. One of my favorite parts of their day. Molly and Zach | Perlé Wedding

“If nothing else, make sure you come hungry! My family will make sure you are fed!” These are the last words that I hear from Molly before I see her on her big day. She was referring to feeding both Barry and I breakfast as we started photography coverage on her and Zach’s wedding day. The second we stepped foot through the hotel door that day, we were asked to grab a bite of breakfast and some coffee. As Molly is getting her final hair touch ups, I turn around and am greeted by Molly’s identical twin sister, Katy. “Champaign?” Katy asks. While we passed on the champagne, the hospitality was so warm and kind. Everywhere we turned, members of Molly’s family were making sure we were well taken care of. Such generous hearts. These are great people.

And they are fun people. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as hard as I did watching Zach and his brothers Vogue-ing for the camera, or watching Molly and Zach laughing and enjoying each other during every stage of their day. What’s great about this couple is that they always see the fun in any kind of situation, and there is a smile on their face at all times. Even if the ring gets stuck as they are trying to slide it on a finger (yes, this happened during the ring exchange part of the ceremony!) Marriage should have a ton of fun and laughter, and for this reason and many others, Molly and Zach have the start to a beautiful and long life together.

Stephanie + Doug | The Club at Nevillewood Wedding

What can I say about Stephanie and Doug? Just one word can’t fully pinpoint this sweet couple. They are the couple that everyone absolutely loves because they are caring, create fun just by entering a room, and make you feel like you are on the top of the world by the time they leave. They are down-to-earth and up for anything. And of course, hand-in-hand with an incredibly fun couple comes an incredibly fun bridal party and guest list! I swear we were smiling just about the entire 9+ hours we had our cameras in our hands.

And they asked us to photography their wedding?! Lucky. Us.

Stephanie and Doug’s wedding day equally matched this amazing couple. The flowers, décor, and cake were decorated with rich fall colors of crimson and gold. The dessert table had just about every kind of dessert you could ask for- cake and s’mores pops, chocolate covered bacon, donuts, popcorn, just to name a few! No detail was overlooked, and my breath was taken away when I looked around the magnificently decorated reception room. Simply stunning.

One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Stephanie, Doug, and their families as they laughed and flew up and down on chairs during the Hora. Or maybe it was during Stephanie’s solo dance routine as she spun around on the floor in her wedding dress! Love that girl!
