Soft. Sexy. Sultry. Three words that precisely define the inspiration for my boudoir sessions. As a woman, I know firsthand how great it is to feel this way, and this understanding gives me leverage as a boudoir photographer.

Over the past few months, what is usually “slow season” for a photographer has actually been a heck of a busy season for me- mostly because of boudoir! With wedding season right around the corner, most of my clients will be married in the near future, and are looking to give their soon-to-be husband a special wedding gift. Boudoir is also popular for anniversary or other holiday gifts!

To say how much fun the boudoir experience is is an understatement! Before taking pictures, you will be pampered with hair and makeup application, and sip on strawberries and champagne while we get you all done up. Then you will feel like a rock star as we photograph. Some of you ladies may think that this is too daring of an experience for you to ever try, but I can assure you that there is no need to be nervous! It is just like wearing a bathing suit, and you will feel comfortable and confident after just a few clicks of the camera. What’s more, I will never push you past your limit of comfort. And I keep it classy.

You’re Invited Bridal Show

On Saturday, March 21, Your Big Day Bridal Services threw You’re Invited- a classy and top-notch event at the Crystal Conservatories in Valencia. I was over the moon to be asked to photograph this event (fashion show- yes, please!) This phenomenal bridal show put me in a happy state of sensory overload, surrounded by exquisite wedding dresses, floral arrangements, delectable food, and jaw-dropping décor, to name a few!

To be completely up front, I have a slight obsession with wedding dresses. Maybe because I love fashion, but also because there is only one day in your life that you can feel like a goddess in a white dress. I just love photographing ladies as they experience this moment. And as long as I’m confessing, I may as well be honest and let you know that I still buy wedding magazines and browse online at wedding dresses, although I am already married. I do it just because seeing the latest in wedding fashion makes me Surreally. Happy.

In between the fashion show fabulousness, I was able to grab a few pictures of the talented wedding vendors and their crafts at this event. If you haven’t yet been to a You’re Invited event, you will want to put it on your radar! It features a selection of hand-picked wedding vendors, which helps to prevent the bridal show from feeling overwhelming. This event is unique because wedding vendors and guests are free to walk around the show to mingle- which helps to create a casual, friendly, and informal vibe. The Personality of Your Bouquet

Who’s ready for spring?! This back and forth weather has me craving the next season- I want the warmth, color, and flowers! Which leads to the inspiration of this post- absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements!

Emma and Dave | Twentieth Century Club Wedding

Exquisite. Romantic. Elegant. These are just a few words that describe Emma and Dave’s winter wedding at The Twentieth Century Club. Such a beautiful location for a wedding, the Twentieth Century Club is dripping with elegance: from the chandeliers adorning multiple rooms, to the windows spanning from floor to ceiling. There were so many lovely spaces for all to enjoy Emma and Dave’s wedding!

What I love most about Emma and Dave is how calm, cool, and collected they are. Not to mention that they are incredibly kind-hearted. Case in point- one of the first things Emma said to me that day was “Thank you for making it here to photograph our wedding!” She was referring to braving the snow covered roads to get there. Of course we wouldn’t let the snow stop us, but the fact that she was so genuine and sweet was a reflection of her beautiful aura.

This couple had so many special moments during their day: reading the letters they wrote to each other, having a first look, and orchestrating a dance floor unison “jump” are just some of these moments. Take a look!
