Sandi & Matt | Engagement Session

Photographing in and around the city is my favorite. I don’t think that I could ever get sick of our skyline, especially on warm summer nights, when sun bursts slow to sunset. So, when Matt and Sandi wanted to photograph their engagement session on the riverwalk and also at the North Shore’s Allegheny Commons Park, I was pretty elated!

This sweet couple met in a college lab class. Although they were first friends, one thing led to the next, and their friendship evolved into romance. As we photographed, I learned that we have a lot in common; they love animals (they are in anticipation of owning a dog) and they also love to travel! What I love most about this couple is how relaxed and genuine they are. They are getting married in July at the Heinz History Center, and we are waiting in anticipation for their wedding day!

Alyssa and Zack | Strip District Engagement Session

Charming. Light-hearted. Adoring. Lively. These are just a few of the words that came into my mind as I watched Alyssa and Zack interact, and as I photographed their engagement session <3

Alyssa and Zack knew of each other because they went to the same high school. However, they didn’t actually connect until a few years later, after their collegiate degrees, when they both moved back to the same area of residence in Pittsburgh. One day, Zack noticed Alyssa out of the corner of his eye, and, with the slight setback of the pandemic, they eventually went on a first date and their love story took off from there!

We started their engagement session on the North Shore to grab a few pictures with the backdrop of our city’s iconic yellow bridges. From there, we landed in the Strip District, to photograph just steps away from their home.

This sweet couple is getting married this September, and we are over-the-moon thrilled to be a part of their wedding day!

Penn State Ladies’ Senior Session

When I was asked to go back to my Alma Mater to photograph some lovely ladies for their college graduation pictures, I was elated! I don’t get back to Penn State as often as I’d like, so it was delightful to see how the campus has progressed!

These ladies were so much fun to photograph, and you could tell that they have a friendship that will last life long. We took quite a few group photos around campus, and, as an added bonus, a few of these ladies signed up to have some pictures taken on their own.

Elizabeth and Joey | Maternity Session

Hi, friends! It has been a hot minute since I have posted a blog, sorry for being silent! That doesn’t mean that I haven’t been photographing; quite the contrary, actually. I have had some side projects that were not my usual niche in photography (more commercial), and I usually try to keep my blog posts to weddings, portraits, and boudoir sessions. So I haven’t talked about the commercial side (yet!) But I am hoping to launch a new brand at some point in the future that can showcase my commercial work. Don’t worry, I am still at it with weddings, boudoir and portraits! The commercial aspect is a fun new challenge for me.

And what a better way to start off my blog posts for the season than to showcase former wedding clients of mine, Elizabeth and Joey! They are expecting their little bean at the end of April, and I am truly happy for this loving couple. They will be the best parents! What I love about this session is that it is lifestyle, which is different from the in-nature maternity sessions that I have photographed in the past.

Katie and Tommy | Mellon Park Engagement Session

One of the last warm weather fall days fell on Katie and Tommy’s engagement session, and there were still beautiful color on the trees. Some trees swept over the gates of Mellon Park with fiery red tendrils; it set the most lovely scene for some of our pictures!

I had the best time getting to know Katie and Tommy as I took their engagement pictures! They are a relaxed, fun and down-to-earth couple, and we are so excited to photograph their wedding in September of 2023! Take a look at some of my favorites from their engagement session…
